Growing interest about virotherapy in Russia

International Vitotherapy Center (IVC) was recently visited by the Member of Civic Chamber of Russian Federation and famous oncologist, professor Shamil Gantsev.

Among others he met with the IVC Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board, professor and academician, Ivars Kalvins, who is also the Head of the Scientific Council of Latvian Organic Synthesis Institute.

During the meeting Professor Gantsev recommended the IVC to introduce Russian oncologists to virotherapy on a more intensive scale. He also expressed his wish that it would be necessary to start oncolytic virotherapy registration procedure in Russia to make virotherapy available for all Russian patients.

During the same time a couple of Russian delegations visited IVC for virotherapy training.
