IVC medical director Dace Baltiņa and Māris Baltiņš received Pauls Stradiņš award

International Virotherapy Center medical director, RSU professor Dace Baltiņa and State Language Centre Director, Professor Māris Baltiņš was awarded with P.Stradins award regarding fight against cancer history research in Latvia. Award was presented during the ceremony on Thursday, March 9, 2017 in the Pauls Stradins Museum for History of Medicine.

P.Stradins Prize every year is presented for outstanding research in the medical history or significant achievements in the practical medicine. Prize nominations are set by Pauls Stradins Museum for History of Medicine, Riga Stradins University (RSU) and the Latvian Academy of Sciences. The award was established in honor of professor P.Stradins also known as renowned surgeon, an oncologist, founder of hospital, museum and nursing school, and lecturer in Faculty of Medicine.
