Virotherapy satellite symposium in the 9th World Congress of Melanoma in Brisbane

From 18th till 21st of October the 9TH WORLD CONGRESS OF MELANOMA and the 14th International Congress of the Society for Melanoma Research is being held in Brisbane, Australia. Representatives of the IVC from Latvia Asoc.prof. Peteris Alberts and Dr.med. Janis Dobelis was invited in congress to manage the satellite symposium of oncolytic virotherapy.

Within the framework of the congress on October 18th Prof.Albert and Dr. Dobelis spoke at the symposium “Oncolytic virotherapy with ECHO-7 oncolytic virus and innovative approach to melanoma screening” during which the visitors of the event were informed of the experience and clinical studies in cancer treatment with ECHO-7 oncolytic virus as well as introduced with digital technology role in early melanoma screening – mobile app We Care Be Aware.

The 9th World Congress of Melanoma joins with the Society for Melanoma Research to bring together the world’s leading melanoma researchers and clinicians to showcase the latest developments in melanoma diagnosis, treatment and research. It covers the entire field of melanoma and other cutaneous malignancies.
